[2014 KOREA TRIP] Day 1: Nami Island (남이섬) + Yeoju Green Village

Hi guys! Finally i'm here with a post about my trip to Korea last October! I went to Korea with my friend, kind of celebrating our college graduation hehehe! Yay <3 We were on Private Tour for our first 3 days, and after that we explore Korea by our self. During the private tour, we were given a guide (he is also our driver).

Now, let's take a look at my first day of this Korea Trip! 시~~~작!

Nami Island
October 19th, 2014: After 6+ hours flight (and 2 hours transit), we finally arrived in Seoul, South Korea! ^_^ As soon as we arrived in the Arrival Gate, we spot our guide Mr. Lee holding our name board. Our first destination is the famous Nami Island (남이섬)! Mr. Lee kindly told us about the history of Nami Island during our long drive (about 2,5hours). Too bad i didn't remember any of it now lol T_T

Since we went on Sunday, it was super crowded and took us more than half hour to get a parking spot. After a little walk, we finally ready to depart to Nami Island by ferry. The ferry was really crowded, but thanks to Mr. Lee, we managed to take some photos on our ferry ride.

// Our first selca in Nami Island :D //

We were greeted with super beautiful view as soon as we arrived in the island! Fallen leaves everywhere. It was a great choice to visit this island during Autumn! ^_^ The weather was also super nice, a bit cold because of the breeze.

We took some photos with the help of Mr. Lee, and it turns out very beautiful! lol <3 He even told us how to pose ^_^ Here's some of Mr. Lee's masterpiece hohoho ↓↓↓

Nami Island was filled with many couples, family, and friends spending their time together. I think Nami Island is a great place to have a quality time with your loved one! ^_^ I would really like to spend a whole day in this island, enjoying beautiful view all day long! Too bad, we need to hurry up to visit our next destination T_T

// One of my favorite spot on Nami Island.
The leaves started to turn yellow and it's beyond beautiful <3 //

We had a super delicious 닭갈비 (Dalkgalbi) lunch at Nami Island before we left. Dalkgalbi is s a popular Korean dish generally made by stir-frying marinate diced chicken in a gochujang (chili pepper paste) based sauce. ()

Since it was our first meal in Korea, we really enjoyed it. It was super delicious! T_T Next time i go to Nami Island, i will definitely visit this restaurant again <3

// Our super delicious late lunch! //

After lunch, we still managed to took some photos in hurry. lol. We went back by ferry too, and it's time to say goodbye to Nami Island. Till we meet again <3

Hello, Bae Yong Jun oppa and Choi Ji Woo unnie! <3 //

// Now, we're off to our next destination, Yeoju Green Village! 고고 씽!~~~ //

Yeoju Green Village
After a long drive (again), we finally arrived in Yeoju Green Village. We were greeted by a very kind ahjussi. He is also the owner of the place. We were there for Ginseng Juice Tasting, Korean Kimchi Making, and Korean Traditional Costume (Hanbok) Experience.

Owner ahjussi told us a bit about the ginseng and show us the ginseng that are decades old! Even older than we are lol. We then tried the Ginseng Juice! Actually it was a Ginseng Milk and it tastes really good, even better than my expectation. We also tried a slice of Ginseng (he told us it was expensive lol) but as expected, it tastes bitter. T_T

Afterwards, it's time to make some kimchi! We were given an apron and plastic gloves before making the kimchi! Ahjussi told us that if we can make a beautiful kimchi, we will get a handsome boyfriend! lol. <3

// Us trying to make the kmichi lol //
// My friend's kimchi! //
// My kimchi! What do you think of our kimchi?? It looks nice right? hehe XD //

After the kimchi making, ahjussi's wife made us a Kimchi Pancakes. It was very good! She also give us some apples and kimchi she just made. Super nice! She's also very beautiful and fun. <3 And sadly ahjussi need to go somewhere else so we said goodbye to him. His wife will help us to pick some Hanbok to wear.

// Wearing a pretty Hanbok♥ //

Ta-Da!~ That was my first time wearing Hanbok! They had lots of Hanbok and i had a hard time to choose one T_T All the hanbok was too pretty! I (finally) choose this one. Ahjussi's wife helped us to wear the hanbok. She also told us to take some photos and suggesting how to pose with the hanbok while Mr. Lee was in charge to take the photos XD

// Our 설롱탕 (Seollongtang) dinner //

For dinner, Mr. Lee took us to a Seolleongtang Restaurant. Seolleongtang is a Korean broth tang (soup) made from ox bones (mostly leg bones), brisket and other cuts (). The soup was really refreshing! Served with a bowl of rice, we had a really good dinner. <3

After dinner, we were off to our hotel. Our first hotel is M.Biz Hotel, located in Gangnam area. We stayed there for about 4 night before moving to our Myeongdong hotel. ^_^ We had a very comfortable stay there, although the hotel location is a bit far from the subway station (about 15 minutes walk) T_T But overall we really enjoyed our stay there! <3

Our first day in Korea finally come to an end. Will blog about our second day later. See you! <3
